Paraloid B-67 Barrier Coat in Naptha

Part #: AB67

$11.55 USD

Use Paraloid B-67 Barrier Coat in Naptha to apply a clear lacquer layer on objects to prevent inked numbers from bleeding into the object. The chemically inert coating resists discoloring, aging, temperature changes and exposure. The coating may yellow slightly over time but has better working properties than B-72.
  • Clear base coat provides a barrier between specimen and accession number
  • Reversible, with long-term integrity
  • Isobutyl methacrylate polymer is chemically inert and resistant to discoloring, aging, temperature changes and exposure
  • Brush-top bottle
  • Test before using, especially on painted or unpainted nonporous surfaces; do not use on wax figures
  • Barrier coats should only be used by trained conservators
Amount 0.5 fl. oz.
  • Safety Data Sheet
