Yellow Beeswax is the traditional material for waxing thread used by conservators and bookbinders to make difficult sewing jobs easier. Waxing thread is stronger, stiffer, less stretchy, and more water and mildew resistant than regular thread. Beeswax is also ideal for use in leather treatment, wood and metal conservation and painting restoration. Our Yellow Beeswax is 100% natural and comes unbleached, with no additives, from the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, where the Clapham Family harvests only their finest product.
