This Metro Overhead Track High-Density Shelving System for 16 ft. Spaces creates more storage space by eliminating the need for permanent aisles. Four mobile units are positioned on an overhead track between a pair of stationary units and an active aisle can be opened between any two shelving units as needed. The overhead tracks compensate for uneven floors and and keeps units in alignment. Overhead tracks keep the floor clear for easy movement of utility trucks and cleaning of the floor. No permanent mounting is required so the system can be repositioned or expanded. Each mobile unit can hold up to 900 lbs.
